Jing Peng

Jing Peng is from Yunnan, China. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Penn State University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Economics from Johns Hopkins University (JHU). While at JHU, she became interested in energy system modeling and energy policies, and conducted research on the impacts of carbon policies on power system planning and the environment. Currently, Jing is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan with Prof. Johanna Mathieu. Her current research interests include power system optimization and power markets analysis.
